How to Apply Press-On Nails

Start by removing any old nail polish and shaping your natural nails with a file. Next, use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles. This step is crucial as it creates a smooth surface for the press-on nails to adhere to.

Clean Your Nails

Using a cotton pad or ball, wipe each nail with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or residue. This step ensures that the press-on nails will stick properly and last longer.

Choose the Right Size

Most press-on nail sets come with a variety of sizes to fit different nail shapes and sizes. Take the time to find the best fit for each nail before applying.

Now it's time to apply the press-on nails. You can use either nail glue or adhesive tabs, depending on your preference. If using glue, apply a small amount to the back of the press-on nail and your natural nail. Press the nail onto your natural nail and hold for a few seconds to ensure it sticks. If using adhesive tabs, simply peel off the backing and press the nail onto your natural nail.

File and Shape

Once all the nails are applied, use a nail file to shape and smooth out any rough edges. This step will give your manicure a more natural and polished look.
